Intelligent I/O Controllers

BWI supplies a range of intelligent I/O controllers for the VME bus to meet various data acquisition and control requirements. The controllers utilize an OS-9® real-time kernel allowing improved real-time performance and off-loading of I/O processing from the host computer. The I/O processors communicate with the host either with an application level shared memory interface, or using socket drivers which allow a full TCP/IP implementation across the VME backplane. The I/O controllers are available in various configurations of input and output devices.
